What I like: I think this movie is very inspiring and not just for athletes. It can been a good source of inspiration for anyone who wants to succeed in this world. The climatic match between Rocky and Apollo Creed is very well done in showing a fight not between men but hungry lions. Also the training montage is a cinematic classic! What I didn't like: Basically I hated Rocky Balboa for the first half of the movie. As the series continues he becomes really likable and one can't help but being sympathetic with the character (especially in Rocky VI). However In this movie I think Stallone tries way to hard to make Balboa sound like an idiot. And he repeats the phrase "Hey, yo.. " way too many times. I also disliked his weird sense of romance towards Adrian. Overall: When Rocky finally starts training for the big chance he is given the movie really starts reaching new heights!
