I think it is crazy the amount of people that are still scared of Joseph Smith, and he has been dead for so many years ! I can't think of any other prophet or seer of God that has been either hated or loved to such an extreme. It is awesome in a way !

There is no possible way to make Joseph Smith look like a decent human being without lying and yet many people believe him to be a prophet. Even when you leave out the more appalling details of his life and teachings he still appears to be a leader of a massive cult.

I wouldn't take one walk in this place. Mormon History is disgusting. Their leader was a mass murderer and rapist of many Indian women. He was also a heavy drunk and beat his own wife. I have nothing against Mormons in general, I just don't think their history is gentle and accepting. Joseph Smith was not a good man. UPDATE: I want everyone to know that I have NOTHING against Mormons at all. It's the teachings of the mormon church I dislike. I have had friends who were Mormon before.
