Even if the family Christmas is not held at my house, I love to help in any way I can. My kids and I never pass a "red kettle" with a guy ringing a bell next to it, without putting money into it. The kids classes collect presents for the needy. I like to buy more than is asked.

We don't volunteer on the actual day, but we work hard to make a huge Christmas basket for a family in need, so their Christmas Day is bright and happy. :) That makes me feel SO good!

I volunteer, but I have not gotten to a place in my life that Christmas day is the day to do it on...I guess I need some personal growth in that area....
