Quarterbacking a team to a 16-0 record and throwing more TDs than any other pro QB in a season is certainly worthy in this country.

Tom Brady would get my vote - especially if they can win out. He's the face of one of the most dominant sports teams of all team. And given that it's the parity obsessed NFL (and not, say MLB), his achievements are even more remarkable. He's played the QB position about as well as it can be played this year.
