Okay, now this can really be annoying. Otherwise intelligent people just start forwarding email like there's no tomorrow, then on top of that they want me to do it too. I finally got out of the habit of feeling guilty about it. Now I usualy delete them without reading. It's just too much.

By the way, if you read this and send this to ten of your best friends, and have them send it to ten of there best friends, tomorrow you will have riches beyond your belief, if you don't, well, I wouldn't want to be in your shoes. It really works.

Do people still do this? I had a couple of friends/acquaintences that used to do this regularly and I established the practice of returning the em-ail to them and them alone. Eventually they got the message and it stopped. Good thing too, my next step in escalation was going to be send it to them in the corresponding number of times to the number of people I was supposed to forward it to.

Yes....I HATE those damn things. Often times they give you a time frame too. "Send this to 10 of your friends in 10 mins." etc....too time consuming, and just plain annoying.

What annoys me about this is seeing the people who forwarded me these messages, most of them are actually relatively intelligent, or so I thought.

I used to get these in the e-mail all the time, them and those dumb e-mail petitions -- sometimes the same ones over and over again showing endless headers revealing that it's been around for about the thousandth time. I just can't believe people actually buy into those.

Fortuneately, I don't get them much anymore.

It depends on the day, and the exact content of the messages. Some of the more ridiculous ones are actually somewhat entertaining to read before I delete them.

Because they can so easily be deleted from my email, I only give this a 4. The problem is, it has started to leak over to text messages, and that can make it a 5 really fast.

If you have my cell phone number and my email, you should know I'm already you're friend, that's why you have them. I shouldn't have to send back some stupid message that you just sent me to prove it. In fact, if you are my friend, stop sending me emails that you say will bring me bad luck if I don't send it to 8 other people.
