Hillary's mountain climbing and history will go unrivaled.  Compulsive liar, Hillary Clinton even claimed to be named after him.

Oh yeah, the pantywaist Kiwi who got dragged up to the summit of Everest by the Sherpa Tenzing Norgay, yet took credit he didn't deserve.  Call me bwana.

He went up to the heavens again; his success could never be bested unless one does go to the tallest mountain in the universe so far (Mars has that record).

He achieved one hell of a lot, and was a true gentleman, as well as the truckload of charity work he did.

He deserves a lot of merrit for being the first to climb Mt. Everest, but now
many people have down just that, so he was kind of like a Lindbergh.

Sir Edmund Hillary's accomplishment of being the first person to climb to the peak of Mount Everest occurred way before my time. However, he remained famous for his feat, just like Neil Armstrong did for being the first man to walk on the moon. He seemed to be a likable man who led a remarkable life. It was nice to read that he took an interest in improving the living conditions in Nepal after his accomplishment.
