Holy crap, he's dead 

He was great in Apt Pupil

too bad. he had an unfortunate history of  drug use. Not sure of what happened to him. he was a pretty good kid actor. I liked him in The Client, and The Cure. was not real shocked but still sad when someone so young dies.

OK, he had a lot of problems and was like Jonathan Brandis, just too obscure to be noticed, but a cute teen boy once,
and like with Ledger, many girls are heartbroken. As for me,just another "problem child" who died too young from drugs.

It is sad to see such a talented young man lose his life, especially under the age of 30.

Brad Renfro died suddenly today after having difficulties with drug abuse in his past. I remember him most for his excellent role in The Client. He worked in several other films over his career, but never turned into the big star that people thought he would be. Its sad to see a person lose their life at such a young age, especially when they had amazing things going for them.
