If you ski or golf, its a great place to vacation, if you can afford it.

Just don't let your travel agent tell you its an easy commute from Vancouver.

The highway between the two is one of the deadliest in the province.

One of the cleanest, best kept secret in Canada, in terms of its skiing potential and access. It is a very nice resort ski area, and offers a nice little town for you to visit, eat, and shop at.

The mountain itself offers one of the best views in the area, and some nice clean fresh breath of air. If you ever go to Vancouver, British Columbia, check out Whistler and all of what it has to offer

Whistler Mountain - not that far from Vancouver - might be decent for skiing, but if you find yourself in the area in August, as I did, don't bother! There's almost nothing to do but buy touristy junk.
