Often people who always "look just so" have great self-respect. If they brag about how great they look, I can see why might be called show-offs.

I know there are many people (more than what we care to believe) who truly are snobs and dress flashy to show off, but what's wrong with a person simply wanting to look their best? Things are not always what they appear to be, which is pretty much the whole point of this Weblist.

I believe this is true in some cases, but to say that it's that way all the time would be a false assumption. Just because somebody wants to look nice, it doesn't necessarily mean they're showing off. Maybe they want to take a little pride in their appearance. Certainly nothing wrong with that.

Some people care more about their personal appearance than others.
