I had a dog that would be friendly to repairmen, allow the person to pet him, then when he was done in the basement with the repair and ready to leave, the dog would suddenly grab his ankle on his way out.  Guess she didn't want him to leave!

I have a mastiff dog that weighs over 140 pounds. he is very gentle and don't ever bark until someone comes over and I have to lock him in my bedroom, and sometimes I'm afraid he is going to break the door down.

Actually, aggression would be less embarrassing than having your dog take a deep affection to the repairman's leg.

The dog is a barker at numbah's and even numbah gets barked at. I've known the little ankle biter for a decade now and still she sounds off...

UPDATE: What about a bird? He bit me today...

Cats...give me a break. Anyone that gets maimed by a cat should consider wearing dresses. As far as dogs go you need to restrain your animal or you could be looking at a lawsuit.

Hah.  My cat's a wuss.  She just runs and hides under the bed.

It depends on the animal.  Some are just ankle-biters while some can be dangerous.
