This goes for the internet/phone company as well. They act like you have nothing better to do and usually come an hour after they already made you wait from 8-5.

they could at least say am or pm. i have better things to do than be expected to sit home all day. and with my luck they never come right away. or goodness if you go to the bathroom. and you get a note saying "sorry we missed you"

I'm dealing with this now, but with the dsl tech. The problem with monopolies is that they can get away with this kind of stuff.

Could they narrow it down a little? At least make it before noon or sometime in the afternoon. I can kind of understand bigger cities not being able to narrow it down too much, but I live in a smaller town. There is no reason they can't give a better window than making me clear out 9 hours of the day to wait around. Even in bigger cities, you would think they could narrow it down some.
