Don't get too used to it, my friend. Windows 7 is just around the corner. In Microslap speak, that's approximately 298,983 Vista service packs from now...or one month for Mac users.

I have a new computer with vista on it and am still trying to learn my way around it. I loved xp but it is too soon to say yet on the vista. Once Ive had this computer awhile I will probably come back and update. I agree with Molfan though...xp was user friendly and they wasted no time replacing it. Vista is still new to me but confusing so far.

Really hate it when the computer business keeps making up new programs you have to get for crummy updates. I hope we do not have to get one but my son just started college and has to take a computer class and of course, what does it require? vista! I have heard a lot of bad stuff about this program and we do not have the money to buy it. dang as soon as you buy a new computer it is already an "oldie".

American ingenuity is quickly becoming an oxymoron. . .

Bells and whistles (and hogging memory), that's what Vista is all about. I haven't found one practical reason why Vista is better than XP.
