LCD has gotten quite cheap recently and is much easier on the eyes. Make sure to recycle the old bulky CRT rather than just ditch it. The last thing we need is another one of these toxic monsters in a landfill.

I will admit, the flat screen monitors are real space savers. But if all a person has is a big, bulky computer monitor, then I'm sure they're pretty thankful for it. It's better than having nothing at all.

Agree, the new monitors are takes much less space, very light, and the picture quality is much better. The prices are very reasonable as well. It is time to take over.

I do need to get rid of this. Mine's like, 1980 special edition. It's flatscreen but weighs probably a good 25 pounds.
