I hate Pink Floyd! So, naturally I would hate their "iconic" guitarist David Gilmour with a passion. Their entire take on modern rock music is so plodding, pretentious and pseudo-intellectual that it makes me wanat to vomit! Oh those searing melodic leads! Such emotion! Such craftsmanship! Gimme a break! Pink Floyd sucks! Their music could put a sack of hardened Quickcrete to sleep! It sounds like overblown elevator music with some type of attempted "deep message" designed to put everyone with a IQ lower than their shoe size into a Hypno-Toad induced trance. Zzzzzzzzzz... This is overproduced studio overdub laden easy listening crap that attempts to be 'serious' and have a message. They have always come across to me as being phony quasi-intellectual jerks and their music sucks! Dull! And I hate all of you pen-clicking-glasses-adjusting condescending audiophile a-holes that like them and will no doubt proceed to attempt to belittle me and criticize me for not having sophisticated enough tastes or not appreciating 'good music'!
