All of these "crunch and thud" numetal and/or emo guitarists that tune down to the key of D suck! They have no true sense of rhythm and they just drone on and on with the same minor chord chunka-chunka crap that makes me hate this entire genre of music so much. It's played on alternative rock stations constantly and I hate it. I immediatly flip the dial when I hear this "manufactured anger" (as Steve Jones so brilliantly puts it) type of music so I really can't name too many of these bands actual names but, you know who I am talking about. There is an annoying compilation record commercial on the music TV channels that seems to be playing about every 20 minutes right now that encapsulates this type of sound to a tee. I try to shut out as much as possible so that's one reason I can't name the groups that produce this crap off of the top of my head so maybe you could help me out here.
