I am sure they bring happiness to some bird owners. they are nice to watch. have no interest in a pet bird myself. having to clean out cages is not something I want to do. some live for a very long time so bird owners would have to take that into consideration. got no problem if someone else wants a pet bird. just not me.

Birds can be fun but they are way too messy for me and without much warning can get sick and die. Not a big fan.
