It's been posted before but I think this is worth a look. Some of the references reflect Canadians' love of poking fun at Toronto, but there's enough funny in it for everyone.

I get a kick out of the headlines in the newspapers in the northern part of the country in the winter. "SNOW" screams the headline as if that was a big surprise at that time of year!
The television isn't that much better. You see some moron out with the flakes coming down. Very newsworthy!

I've always enjoyed the seasons. . .I like having snow a few times a year. I find the cycle of seasons quite comforting and I never bought into the DC-area hype of freaking out when two flakes his the ground.

A pure novelty in South Texas and without it you wouldn't have winter sports.

If it is going to be cold, then bring on the snow!

Snow belongs in the mountains, not in my front yard.

I do want to have some snow for at least a couple of weeks each year. And having between two and six inches of snow on the ground makes tracking wounded deer much easier. But but by about February, I start getting tired of it.
