So far, I've only seen the first season. Although fairly archetypical with the larger-than-life psychologist/criminal profiler Anthony Hill playing the man to Detective Inspector Carol Jordan, the two crack cases often involving semi-complex plots spanning two TV-episodes. Filled with smart twists and turns, good photography and well-paced direction and scripting, I can firmly recommend this to those who like crime and TV that doesn't treat the viewer like an idiot.

Episodes are usually 2 parters... action is fairly fast paced and will hold your attention. Most episodes are very graphic in showing condition of the murder victim. Robson Green's portrayal of psychologist Tony Hill will remind you of his Inspector Dave Creegan in the "Touching Evil" series. The wire in the blood series is well worth viewing!
