He had one good drive, but other than that he was flat and uninspired. He flat missed guys alot and didn't have anything for the Giants deep.

The one thing that kept Brady from performing as we have seen in the past was having a Giants defender in his ribcage every down. That murderous pass rush was the Patriots' undoing.

Didn't do so well today. Surprisingly, Eli was the better QB in the Super Bowl.

Brady didn't have any crucial mistakes in this game, but he didn't have a memorable performance either. He had a decent completion percentage and passing yardage, but only averaged 5.5 yards per completion. The Patriots didn't connect on any long balls like they usually do, and Brady only had one touchdown. Part of the problem for Brady was the pressure he faced from the Giants pass rush. He didn't have the time he usually does to make plays, and it showed. Brady played a decent game, but he didn't show the greatness that football fans expect from him.

Brady is a finesse player whom a few idiots are always on the verge of calling the greatest QB of all time. This is far from the truth. In reality, he's just an above-average passer who happens to have a sense of the field better than anyone else in his generation. Just how fragile his brilliance is became clear in this game, where without strong protection he looked vulnerable. Of course, nobody would be talking about those weaknesses if his powerful march down to the goal line to make the score 14-10 with 2:42 to go had held up. He played as well as could be expected under the circumstances, but the Patriots needed something superhuman, which is something Brady can't give them.
