One of the greatest upsets in the history of sports.

Not a bad game overall but the 4th quarter was excellent. My only complaint is the Packers did not get to play.

The greatest Super Bowl that I have ever seen and I am not just saying that because I'm a Giants fan. The game was very competitive and close with a ton of drama. The last drive for the Giants will live forever in Super Bowl lore, with the Great Manning Escape and unbelievable catch by David Tyree, the Steve Smith 3rd and 11 first down catch as well. This Super Bowl is definitely the greatest in History!

Most of the game moved a little slow. I didn't expect such a defensive showdown. The whole first quarter was 2 possesions. I was watching it at my church, with my youth group, so i didn't get to pay as close attention as i would have liked, but they all left early in the 4th quarter, so i got to enjoy what was undoubtedly the best few minutes of the game. The 4th quarter made up for the rest of the game being so slow and as for Eli, well, he's earned my respect.

One of the best I've seen in a long time. Eli slipping sacks, Brady getting sacked, and the catch on the helmet. Man it was great.

The game was competitive, which usually makes for a great Super Bowl. However, the game started out very slowly and was not particularly well played. The Patriots were inept for 3 quarters of the game before coming alive, and the Giants, while spectacular on defense, were not that entertaining either. The finish was excellent, but the entire game was not quite as great.

Manic 4th quarter, but the rest of the game was a series of nasty hits where both teams were trying to wear the other out. In the end the Giants had more than anyone thought they did and Eli sent the loudest message he could send to all those who doubt him, but the real monster in this game was the D line for the Giants. They pushed the Pats around and brought what many were calling the best team ever to its knees. Great game all around.

Nearly every viewer (outside of Massachusetts) leaped (or at least yelled) when Burress caught the corner route pass. A bitter, bitter loss for New Englanders to accept but it's not like they haven't had anything to cheer about lately.
Eli, on the other hand, is unique. Seldom has an MVP made so many mistakes, threw so many errant passes, to completely covered receivers (against what we thought was a great defense) and still had a chance to win the game . . . and then does win it. Because of the convention of MVP awards, Eli had to win it. But the real MVP consisted of a squad of defensive players who accomplished what looked impossible, probably to them as well. They held the most powerful, most prolific, record-setting offense in the history of the NFL to 2 touchdowns and completely stopped that offense with half a minute to play, and nobody had done that all year.
Eli can be the front-runner story. Games like this affirm the old saying, "defense wins championships. " Most entertaining Super Bowl, I've seen them all, and maybe a bigger upset (though not by point spread) than Broadway Joe's (Jets) predicting and beating the Mighty Colts in Super Bowl III.

Going into the game we knew one way or the other it would be history making. Luckily, the game itself lived up to the hype even without all the things surrounding it. The first Superbowl I can remember watching was Superbowl 12 and I have to say this was probably the best of the bunch. If you want scoring every three minutes then this probably wasn't the Superbowl for you, but if you like defensive battles or are like me and just want it to be close, this was a great game. Nerve racking in the best possible way, and kept you on the edge of your seat right down to the final second.

This game has to rank up there with the greats, if not the greatest Super Bowl ever when you figure in the Pats coming in 18-0 and the Giants being 12 point underdogs.
What a drive by Eli Manning! Eli has now taken his place alongside of his brother as a top tier QB in the NFL. Really great, enjoyable game!
