POPFile is an open-source automatic mail classification utility. Upon setting and some training, it will scan all arriving emails and classify them based on the trained guidelines. It can do a simple job, like separating out junk e-mail, or a more complicated one-like filing mail into a dozen appropriate folders. It is like a personal secretary for the inbox.
